Discrimination and Peace.

“The real differences around the World today are not between Jews and Arabs; protestants and Catholics; Muslims, Croats, and Serbs. The real differences are between those who embrace peace and those who would destroy it; between those who look to the future and those who cling to the past; between those who open their arms and those who are determined to clench their fists”.
                                                                                                                               William J. Clinton, 1997.

The World is divided in what we represent. We are divided by religion, race, sex and we do not realize that the real difference is between those who support or are in favor of peace and those who would destroy it. Many believe that we are different in the way we dress, the way we do things, the way we see things, but the real difference is the way we think and believe, even though we are equal in some way.

Many believe that clinging to the past is moving on, but it's not. If your life is based on remembering the bad o good memories from the past, we’ll lose time of the present, which will not be good for our future. Although we have sudden urges to remembering then, it should only be occasionally. Remember things from the past because it is a reflection of who we are now.

These differences do not make us better o worse persons than others, it makes us stand out from others and be unique and unmatched. We have to learn to accept others for who they are, no matter their differences or defects, because nobody’s perfect.

All these wars that have been going on make us wonder, does that make us ''human''? What makes us human is believing in ourselves, knowing the difference between what's right and what's wrong.
